Eye Target?

Can anyone help with this please? I have used Sslyther the Snake (SKU 6960). (See Pic). The product features an 'Eye Target' which sets a small red icon within the illustration. I had not realised that this would come out in the final render and I'd like to know how to get rid of it please. I don't know what it is or even how to use it, I presume it controls eye direction?.......Thank you very much.

The target should be parented to one of the eyes.  Find it, and set Visible in Render to Off.
