Is that where the log file stops, or does it continue on for many more lines?

There should be a part further down which says 'OpenGL features for current hardware:' That may be a problem if your OpenGL for your card is not up-to-date. You appear to be using 67% of your memory when starting DS, can you try it with a bit more free memory, although that should be sufficient.

You appear to be using 67% of your memory when starting DS, can you try it with a bit more free memory, although that should be sufficient.

I double checked, and I am running the latest NVidia driver, and the OpenGL tester says everything is fine and uptodate on the OpenGL. Interestingly on the log I posted before, the amount of memory is incorrect - is showing 4GB total memory, when I have 6GB total.

I have tried uninstalling everything, including the installer, cleared all data folders, uninstalled all of the Microsoft Visual Studio, and I still am hitting the same spot.

I installed the Installer, then install Daz3D. Try to start Daz3D. And get only this (It shows the proper 5.9GB of memory this time). What else can I try?

I am running ZoneAlarm paid version, and after researching the PostGre/ZoneAlarm issues, made all the changes to the ZoneAlarm rules. But I haven't even installed the PostGRE from the Install Manager yet.

From what you are saying, I would bet money that ZoneAlarm is causing your problems.

A quick way to find out, would be to disable zone alarm (stay off-line if you are worried about that) and try running DS then. You will need to run DAZ Studio as Administrator probably (I always do)

Completely disabled ZoneAlarm, and Daz Studio is set to run as administrator. Ran the OpenGL test program, everything works fine pm the rendering tests.

I searched on the KB for any debug settings, but is there anyway to get more details as to why it is not completing the load process?

    I am baffled with this.

In my log file, the lines that appear after your file ends are as follows :

    Reading help file C:/Program Files/DAZ 3D/DAZStudio4/docs/Plugins/WeightMapBrush/WeightMapBrush.dsx
    Reading help file C:/Program Files/DAZ 3D/DAZStudio4/docs/inlinehelp.dsx
    Scanning import folders
    Scanning content folders
    Using GLEW 1.9.0

There are many more lines after that of course, but yours never seems to get further than TextureAtlas. Do you have WieghtMapBrush.DSX in your Plugins folder? It seems to stop at the line before that loads.

The other thought that strikes me, is that it may not have installed all of the program. Can you go to C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D, and check the size of the folder called 'DAZStudio4'. Mine is 395 MB (415,223,072 bytes), yours may be slightly less as I have a few extra plugins, but not much less. That is the only other thing that I can think of.

If you were to download the 'Manual' file for DS4.6 from your My Account > Product Library, and try to install that it may help. It could be a corrupt file that DIM has downloaded. The size of the folder should tell us that at least.
