Head/Body Morphs

I purchased body morphs for Michael 3. These came with some facial "injections". Can these only be used if you purchase head morphs? If so, why did they come with body morphs? Or am I lacking knowledge on the subject?

If you mean this product, then it is head and body morphs http://www.daz3d.com/michael-3-0-head-body-morphs

BTW do you realise how old Michael 3 is? He was current in around 2005

    No, I purchased this: http://www.daz3d.com/michael-3-0-body-morph-pack

I don't see what the age of a product has to do with anything though. I went with older as they are cheapest and I'm just learning Daz3D. I will drop a load of green backs on newer character packs once I'm confident in my abilities to create within the app.

So my understanding is - I need the head morphs to make ANY changes to the face, correct? I NEED this: http://www.daz3d.com/michael-3-0-head-morph-pack in order to use the face injections I have? Why do I have them if I can't use 'em?

There should be basic expression morphs (blinks, eye wince, etc.) in the base figure - but there aren't, as I recall, any composite expressions (fear, surprise etc.)

There are some tweaks for brow/mouth/etc - I just can't get them to apply to the figure. I select the Michael figure, add all expressions and all morphs. Then double click "wince" for example, or "smile right", and nothing happens. They're not applied. I have also tried applying everything to Michael's head.

Ah, those are just for loading individual morphs instead of the full set - since you had already loaded the full set you don't need those. To apply the morph select the head and adjust the setting - the injection poses for the stock morphs are purely loaders, it's up to you to decide how much of the morph you want to apply.

Thank you Richard. However, I cant find the controls to adjust. I will keep trucking away at it though.

EDIT: I can't find ANY controls for altering the parts of the face. I only have bend/twist/etc. for the head.

Select the Head and go to the Parameters pane.

See how you have "General" selected under the "currently used"? what happens if you move down and select "Display"?

Do you have Michael 3 or Michael 3 Blank loaded? The Blank version has no morph channels.
