Adding 3rd party character and materials metadata

Hey folks I am wondering if anyone could link a breakdown on what to do to add a custom character for this example https://elleque.net/?p=5736 this character comes with some props and materials. I know how to have the character show up in the smart content editing the metadata information. but I want to also add the materials and props for that chartacter as well. I have tried in the past to do a few things like create a new catagory for compabablity base but when I try and set that up nothing shows up. there is a lot of information out there on how to attach it with allready been created like victoria 4 and genesis 3, but I havent found one that setup a character thats not been created before. any help would be awsome even if its a paid tut on daz I use enough 3rd part content that would be awsome.
