Adjusting parameters during render?

I often limit the time of a render so that it doesn't work more than necessary for what I want. But sometimes, after seeing some progress, I realize that I may have made something like the max time too low. Is there a way I can extend the max time to keep it from stopping before time runs out? Is it as simple as cancel > adjust > resume? Does that work? Thank you.

Yeah, pretty much.  For the stuff you can change without restarting a render, you can also use the little tab that opens up at the left edge of the render window when you click the little tab.  I don't know why Daz hid it so well, but they work in mysterious ways their wonders to perform.  From my experience, if you fiddle with some of that stuff without first cancelling, the render starts over.
