Tip: Using Rons Rain Brush to create a painted look

In Photoshop Elements I created a bluey green solid color, then used one of the Ron's Rain brushes set to overlay, screen, soft light alternately, clicking here and there. The brushes are huge so it only took a few clicks. I then took the layer I created and put it on top of the image, then set the whole layer to soft light at 64% opacity. The final step was to use the auto levels from the Enhance menu.
