Commercial and Non Commercial use?

I created a character that looks a bit like Christina Applegate which was not my intention but I like the character. I read somewhere you can't use celebrity look alikes is that true?

    There is a whole thread in the Commons which is about celebrity look=a-likes, so it wouldn't appear to be any problem

    Ok I changed it and I don't think it looks to much like her now. Does it look like her or is it just me? I wouldn't want to use anyones face like that. I will look at the other thread.

    Also, as you said, you made her and she ended up looking like the actress, but since you didn't set out to do it, you should be fine. Besides, unless you furthered that by making specific textures to look like the actress, then I don't see why what you've done would have a problem.

    Ok I guess it wouldn't matter as long as I don't use thier name.
