How to make clothing object fit and follow in DS4?

edited December 1969 in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Hello - I have a clothing item that works in poser, not dynamic, and I have tried transfer utility to make it fit and follow a v4 figure, but it hasn't worked thus far. I think I need to know what actions to take with the transfer utility to get this to work.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Have you tried Fit To? Right click and chose Fit to or use the Parameters Tab for the item Fit To should be near the very bottom.

Hi, I'm unsure if you are using the v4 shape for genesis or the v4 figure?

If you are using the figure the transfer utility won't help as v4 is not weight mapped...jaderail's suggestion should work an d you shouldn't need to use the transfer utility at all.

If you have a cr2 file that you wish to use with the genesis v4 shape you should be able to use auto fit if the clothing is for gen4. If it is for gen3 you will need to have the gen3 shape for auto fit to work.

As morphs are now transferring with auto fit you shouldn't need to use the transfer utility any more...

    Hope this helps

Though only for people who have Studio 4.5 RC2 installed.

Sorry I didn't think that they might not have 4.5 installed... : (

If this was the case they would need the transfer utility...
