G8F Default Pose Messed Up - Resolved

Hello,

I recently converted a G3F character to a G8F character and now I have noticed that when I place the converted character into the default pose the right thigh bend side-side parameter has a value of 6 and the left side bend side-side parameter has a value of -6. Both should be 0 in the default pose. This means that whenever I apply a pose to this converted character the side-side values are off by 6 or -6 depending on which leg.

Is there a way that I can get the default pose to reset the character back to the proper settings so that the legs are set properly when I apply a pose and I don't have to manually correct them all the time?

Thanks in advance for any help.

  • There's two, basic, possibilites.

The preset has this setting, or the default dsf is broken.

Adjust the particular dials and resave.

For presets, just zero and save over the previous preset.

For dsf correction, File>Save as>Support asset>Save modified asset.

If that doesn't correct the issue, you may need to reinstall the default dsf for g8f.
