Old Problem Fixing Metadata

Ok, I know I've seen a solution for this... but now I can't find nor can I remember what it might be.

 

There are quite a few guys that show up as girls (Dasan), some ONLY as girls (Jonah HD for Ollie).  I go in, fix the categories and it never takes.  The Def/Fig/People/Female refuses to go away.

 

Yes there is a correct category. Yes I have Sync Product and Local DB checked.  What am I missing? I just recently had to reinstall everything. I went the DIM route after the last Connect\Metadata debacle.

I tried to help someone a while ago with a similar problem, but never got a reply as to whether it worked out for them or not. Maybe you can try it out: Can Anyone help me with Deleting Category Metada?

Thanks, but no...none of the methods for removing the categories is working.

Really? That's surprising. Deleting the Product from the database and re-importing a modified metadata file always works for me.
