Hair moving with eyes

I wonder if someone could help me.

I have managed to get a V3 hair to work on G8F. Generally it seems to work OK, but where the hair falls in front of the eye, it tracks with the eyeball. Is there any way of preventing this? I think the hair is triax hair. Should I converted it to weighted hair and if so, do what with it? I really don't know how to proceed.
