surface settings

Iam using a differnt m5 gen then the daz m5 gen i add the texture maps and change the diffuse colors etc. But i still cant get it to match the genesis texture im so close. Can someone please tell me what im doing wrong lol!

    Is it a product you bought? A skin texture? Most come with presets for applying textures. Have you checked the readme to see if it shows presets? That should also tell you where they are.

    If you're doing your own textures, you might want to look at a good set of textures applied to the figure and then under surfaces, make note of where textures were placed and what kind of settings were used for everything. That was how I first learned.

    I did that put the daz m5 gens next to the other m5 gens added the maps changed the colors. I'm like a shade of or something. I mean how important are things like speculer strength being set to the right %?

    The gens need to be using both the same shader and surface settings as the body.

    I have done that but you see this line at the top I can't fade that or blend it in.

    Is the texture you are using for the body one that has a matching set of genital materials - and is it a Michael 5 texture? Michael 4 maps won't convert, and maps from two different sets are unlikely to match.

    Both are iggi by raw art textures and it has m5 uv map.
