Converting skin MAT's from pz2 to duf: Leaving parts out?

I'm experimenting with converting skin mats from pz2 to duf format, following a tutorial I found on youtube.

It's so far working out pretty well...the body looks fine (once I learned about setting the UV Map setting).
However, the lips and eyelashes are all messed up.

BUT, if I export the skin, and unselect the lips and eye lashes, it looks like it works fine.

SO, my question is... might there be unintended problems from leaving those out in the transfer? Will it not matter if I use other materials (like lip color, eye shadow etc) later on anyhow?
