Spotlight Limited Distance View

I am not sure why I have never noticed this before but my spotlights can only see so far away and then the view is limited or cut off.

How do I shut that off so the spotlight can see everything?

Iray models light falloff with distance. Is that what you're seeing?

    Thanks for the reply FastBike1

No, this is not falloff distance, this is visual distance, I am seeing that the spotlight can only see so far. If you put a mountain in the far distance the spotlight can't see it, it is obscured by a distance factor of some sort.

If you bring the spotlight out to the mountain then the spotlight can't see the cental scene it is then out of the spotlight's distance factor.

Perspective view you can see it, and camera view you can see it but spotlight view it is limited in visual scope.

It makes the spotlight quite myopic. The spotlight has a drop off in its visual purview.

It is like being a little tiny bug trying to see far away, everything is blurred.

I was just wondering if there was a way to shut this limitation off.
