How to set up Render options in Daz Studio 4.6?

Hi everyone!
I;ve got some problems with render tab...
It runs out of space on hard disk (partiton c) to render a final picture.
There are all specifications of my present PC:

WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM
CPU INTEL(R) CORE(TM) 2DUO E8400 @ 3.00 GHZ 3.00 GHZ
SYSTEM 32-BIT
GRAFIC CARD: AMD RADEON 5670
MEMORY (RAM): 4,00 GB ( available 3,25 GB).

So my question is: what I should do (or buy) to achieve better results or much more faster time of final rendering the scene?
Is win 7 64-bit is much more productive and stabile??

A 64 bit system would be better as would adding another 4 GB of memory. A few tricks to lower memory usage is reduce the number of and size of your textures and lower the Bucket Size to absolute minimum in the Render Settings.

In the mean time do you have a second drive you could put the temp files on?

first you can delete data you do not need from your hard drive (or save it to a external hard drive or burn it on CD/DVD) to get more free disc space.

,, ...to put the temp files on other drive" - how can I do that? There's should be some options for that in the render panel(settings)??

This isn't a DAZ problem. Your hard drive is full and needs to be cleaned up.

Run Disk Cleanup to find out which files can be removed to clear space.

Move any data files to another partition on the hard drive or to a new hard drive.

Run Disk Defragmenter and defrag the disk once you have cleared space.

You can also move the Page File that windows uses when it runs out of memory to another partition and turn it off on the system partition, preferably on a different hard drive so that it isn't slowing down windows or any programs you are running. If it is on the same partition it means the read/write heads are thrashing back and forwards from one sector of the drive to the other and can cause crashes and will wear out the hard drive that much quicker.

By doing this windows should run better.

In DAZ at the bottom of the render settings window you can set the location of the render library. Set it to another partition where your data files are or a different hard drive. You are better keeping data files and program files separate anyway and only have program files on the windows partition.

...create a convenient folder in the other drive first, then point the temp location to that folder.

That's in Preferences in the Main menu under 'Edit' or F2 should also get you there if you still have the original shortcuts.

(you should possibly do the same with windows own temp locations, there are four of those!)
