ISSUE WITH PC+ PAYMENTS SYSTEM

I posted a thread in the PC Members Only forum about this but, my membership expired before it was resolved so I can't continue on that thread!!! lol!

I was/am having problems paying for my PC+ membership and, despite posting a thread on the forums and opening a support ticket I haven't had any response from anyone at Daz. Someone else posted on the old thread that they had the same issue so I think this needs looking at as a matter of urgency!!!


Basically, the PC dashboard was not accepting any card details to pay for a continuation of my PC Membership. Eventually I decided that the solution was to let the membership expire and then simply purchase it again...

A button on the PC page of my account dashboard (CONTINUE SUBSCRIPTION) is returning a 404 error page and going to the PC+ store page shows the PC membership as 'purchased' (so the button is greyed out)...

There is clearly something quite serious going on and the fact is that (as people's membership expires) more and more members will have this issue.

I shouldn't have to wait a week for a response from the Help/Support techs...

Do you want my money or not?

    The button being greyed out, in this case, does not stop you from using it. The same thing happens in the store for other items, it is just a warning that you have already bought the item, but you can still use the button to buy it if you wish.

    Please try to buy it from the store in the normal way, and see if that works, if not, you will need to contact Support again. These forums are for users like yourself, and DAZ staff seldom read them.

    Have you checked your support ticket to see if there has been any response? I don't think you get an email now, you have to check it from the original link.

    Thank you, Jimmy....you were right (of course)...so I have now added it to my cart and bought my PC+ membership.

    I couldn't see where the messages from support were in my dashboard but the last one I got just said to check the knowledge base...not very helpful really!

    I'm very glad it worked for you, and that I was able to help :)

    The 'Purchased' warning can be very useful for other things, but something like PC+ membership, where you will buy it more than once over a period of time, is where it isn't really much help at all.
