Where is the DAZMat file folder located?

Hi, I purchased a product from the "other" place and I need to move the .duf and .duf.png files into this folder but I'm not sure what it's called in the DS library. I put these files all over the place and the materials aren't showing up anywhere. Darn Poser files...

Flinks Summer Ground (materials) on Mac

Much appreciated

Hello, it really depends what comes with that. If it's only material settings for a Poser set, then the simplest is to create a new directory in for example /Materials and call it "Summer Ground DS Mats" then put it all there. There is no need to try to get it to work in the same directory as the Poser stuff as this might need some additional scripting setup.

Then you load the Props fromt the Poser directory in the content browser and then apply the mats. This is how do it when I make DS Mats for Poser stuff.

But, you can then when you have loaded the prop, added the material, save is as a Figure/Prop and put it into your /Props/Summer Ground as a .duf prop with the correct materials so you don't have to go through Poser files to load it again.

    Thanks Totte, always helpful!
Anything to not have to go through the Poser files.
