Enabling Install Manager in Chrome

Throughout the site I see green "Download & Install" buttons. They all use "daz3dim" as their protocol, so my guess is that this is supposed to launch the Install Manager. I have DIM 1.1.0.27 installed, but clicking on the links does nothing at all. How can i tell Chrome / Windows to please relay those clicks to DIM ?

Configuration:
Windows 8.1/64bit
Google Chrome

Chrome should give you an external protocol request. Mind you, I'm using Windows 7, and there could be something different when ran under Windows 8.

Select 'remember my choice' if you want, and hit Launch.

Yeah, nothing like that I am afraid. It completely ignores those links.

You may want to reinstall your DIM...has it ever worked? I had to reinstall mine tonight. I'm on Chrome, it works.

Reading through various forums, this appears to be a bug recently introduced in Chrome that affects Win 8.1 installations.
For now i had to switch over to IE in order to click on DAZ download links.

Another option is to just launch DIM to download, rather than clicking on the download links.
