This is juts a test - Cobwebs!

Working on a render based on the scene in the original Conan movie where Conan acquires the Atlantean sword in the crypt. What I needed to do was figure out how to get a draped cobweb effect. I really didn't want to post process them in..
What I came up with was this - take one of the Optitex free dynamic clothes props that is essentially a plane and do the usual draping, then set ambient and diffuse on its surface to medium grey, and assign an opacity map that is white cobweb designs on a black background. The surface opacity and ambient setting require a fair bit of tweaking, but I think this has promise...
Not sure if this has been mentioned here before, but thought it might be worth sharing...
