Michael 4 and the TriAx Weight conundrum

Hi all,

Today's question concerns Michael 4 and my attempt to save a character after using faceshop but possibly anyway and it is this...

When I try to save as a character, I'm told by DAZ that I must select a TriAx Weight Mapped figure in the scene.

What is one and where do I get it from?

Thanks in advance,

G

TriAx is the rigging system used by Genesis and so on. Michael 4 uses Legacy rigging, the old system used in DAZ Studio 3 and in Poser up to version 9/Pro2012. Your best bet, if you want to save the morph on a figure with hair and textures and clothes, is to save a Scene subset. If you want to save the morph so that it can be used with other characters based on M4 then you will need to use the ExP Exporter to save a morph and a channel for it to load into, and then use a preset to store values.

Thank you, that saves me chasing my tail over that one and I've learnt something new... Tick.

    Thanks again,
