Renaming a surface - SOLVED

I've been trying to figure out how to remain a surface - is that even possible? (I have an object where all the surfaces have only numbers, and it's more or less impossible to tell which one is which)

Go to tools -> geometry editor then window -> panes -> tool settings

in the tool settings tab you can double click a surface name and it will let you edit it :)
