dForce permanent/inelastic deformation after stretching?

I'm working on a couple of personal projects with dForce and it seems like that there's no way to allow for inelastic deformation in dForce? I would like to stretch a material through DForce, and have it remain that shape when the applied force is removed...

It is hard to even imagine how that could work because you will need some extra properties from the material simulation.
