Installer Help

So I downloaded the Installer I thought. Says it's suppose to be 53.4 MB but when it downloaded it's only 18.5 MB. Seems to have downloaded completely though. Just curious if I have the whole thing or not before I tried to install it.

    Well I took a chance and clicked it yeah incomplete. What is the deal though? It downloads 20-30% and just quits.

    You should clear your cache, and try again. There could be many reasons why the download didn't complete.

    What installer is this? Is it the DAZ Install Manager (DIM)?

    Yeah. Truth be told I don't even know how to clear my cache. I don't really know much about pc's I use them for internet and thats about it. Maybe I'm getting in over my head with this. lol

    What browser are you using, Internet Explorer, Firefox or something else?

    If IE, go to Tools > Internet Options > General and in the Browsing History area, click on 'Delete...' You will then be given options of what to delete

    Is it DIM you are trying to download?

    I'm using Firefox and I have even tried an IE Download Manager. It always seems to quit around 20-30%

    Yes it's DIM I'm trying to download.

    Tried deleting all my browsing history on Firefox didn't work. Now it's failing faster than it was. >.>

    It's the cache you need to clear. History / Clear recent history / Cache

    make sure the box next to cache is ticked.

    Sometimes closing DAZ clearing the cache and closing Firefox makes certain the cache is cleared.

    If you have used IE at all you will also need to clear cache in IE. DAZ 3D does reccomend that you do not use any download manager other that DIM to download stuff from the DAZ 3D site.

    Tried clearing both didn't work still failed. Oh and forgot to mention I'm on Windows Vista.
