REAL Basic Question

Hi
I'm a Poser person usually, but I do have both old & new DAZ content too that I use occasionally. Can someone explain this relatively new insane Genesis & Genesis 2 system to me?
This link's product say's it's 'ExPressions for Aiko 6:'
http://www.daz3d.com/sublime-expressions-aiko-6
In the description it says 'Required Products: Genesis 2 Females(s) A6.'
And under 'Compatible 3D Figures it says- Genesis 2 Female (singular)
.'
So what's it for? A6? G2F? All G2F(s)? Freak3???
Thank you

Im not sure about this but I think it might work with basic genesis as well but the poses were probably made for Aiko 6 so it might not look as good on basic genesis as it does on Aiko. But again, I´m not sure.
Edit: I mean basic Genesis 2 Female.
I think this might help to explain the generations and figures, from the Help menu
http://www.daz3d.com/compatibility-matrix
yea that tree can be confusing, especially when it comes to the triplets (G2F, V6, (Name for V6").
My best parallel would be a skirt for V4. It was explicitly shaped for A4, even tho back then A4 was a morph of V4. When I try to Auto-fit the skirt to V4, then to G2F, "hell goes to a bucket", lol.
With poses in daz studio 4.6, I tend to use the "Ctrl-click" trick to bring up that cool window, so I can unselect everything except joint rotations. I suspect there may be a similar trick in Poser (I don't even have poser). After making the pose work on G2F, I then save the Pose Preset (And Only select the rotations used, as to not mess up other figures). It's a little bit of work first time, yet the result is a costome saved pose set/collection you can us explicitly for your work flow.
The doubts have to do with Aiko's eyes, vs the face morphing to produce the expression. I don't have an answer for that.
(Edit)
That compatibility matrix is useless the instant you ask, what figures can I use when I get Aiko6. It only covers what I call "Base Figures", not the extended tree. Take Olympia6 for example, dose the tree include Cassia or Kori, NO.
(edit2)
The tree is quite useful if your only sticking with Base figures, and is a good starting point If you know nothing about the CG gene-pool. It's not all negative.
This will clarify everything: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/24257/
Nowadays the Female Base Figure is no longer called Victoria. Victoria is replaced by Genesis 2 Female (G2F) and Michael by Genesis 2 Male (G2M). Every character with a 6 in its name (Victoria6, Michael6, Aiko6 .... ) is just a Morph for the Genesis 2 figures (=Generation6).
If Aiko 6 is required, that means the product is optimized for Genesis 2 Female with the Aiko 6 Morph applied.
It will work on G2F (means all Generation 6 females) but the result may differ from the vendors intention and the promo pics.
In a nutshell, Dave had it right. If something is designed for Aiko 6, that means on Aiko, it will look just like the promos. But since Aiko is a Generation 6 figure, you can also apply the pose to them- with possible different results.
I've had complaints about the "Required Products" part for years. In some instances, some of the items listed there you don't HAVE to have- aka, they might give you an entire slew of models that it will work on and it'll be fine for any ONE of them. But in this case, if the product was made for Aiko 6, then for it to do exactly as the poses shown, then Aiko 6 it is.
That's what I figured; if the vendor specifies Aiko 6, then it's specifically designed for that. Then DAZ, don't say you can also use it for GF Base, G2F Base, G2F(s), a planter, or a tablecloth for cryinn out loud.
Thanks everyone!
