Daz and the animation anticipation conundrum

Hi all,

Is there any way of fixing this animation pre-move that I have found to be a real pain in Daz.

Surely I'm not the only one who takes time to set up a particular camera move or limb position only to see Daz add in a counter move just before the intended move.

For example, animate a camera to move forward on a dolly shot. Daz puts in a move back just before it moves forward.

Why?

Is it a bug or can a setting somewhere be changed/moved/dumped?

This is really burning up animation time while I try to correct it frame by frame.

Thanks in advance,

G

It's because DS smoothly interpolates all keyframes in the base Timeline. You can use Keymate to set other interpolation methods, in this case you'd presumably want no interpolation on backwards side of the key, or you can set additional keyframes on the side you want to be constant.

The solution is Keymate then, I just got hold of it on your recommendation and it's already sorted out the issue.

    Thanks for the tip!
