TEXTURES

Greetings,

DAZ crashed and suddenly I cannot see my textures in SCENE mode but they appear when I render the scene. Can any body help me to view the textures in the scene prior to rendering? I have no idea what happed. I am using DAZ 4 with Genesis actor and several objs with textures that have now disappeared from the scene... Please help if you can. Thanks!

    Hello Navoi and welcome!

    It sounds like your viewport setting has got changed. In the viewport menu, there is a dropdown menu to allow you to set the viewport to the way you want it. I use Texture Shaded, and it sounds like that it what you want too.

    Don't you wish they were all this easy to solve Jimmy? :)
    EDIT: Not poking fun at you Navoi- I'm poking fun at me. Jimmy has to jump in and bail me out on a regular basis, and normally my problems are compounded by ME and it takes awhile for Jimmy to straighten me out.

    Thanks for the kind words.

    I am struggling with Carrara myself at the moment, and I'm only too glad of easy ones to answer. I have had a lot of Doh! moments so far, and I expect to have a lot more. I may be looking for help myself shortly :)
