G2F foggy eyes problem

The eyes of the person I'm making are supposed to be dark brown, however, ever since the start, they've had a cloudy film over them for some reason. This is not just a problem with Reality 2.5, as I can see it in the scene view too. I even googled around and set my cornea shader to glass in the Reality settings (as well as other eye shader adjustments meant to make the eyes more attractive) but no matter what I do, they look exactly the same. I have never had this problem before, and I always use Genesis 2 Female as my base. I suspect the problem may have something to do with the "Modern Muses: Zillah" skin textures I'm using. Could anyone help me correct my problem? This community has been a big help in the past.
I have attached an image depicting the problem.

That's probably a reflection map on the eye surface material - if you open the Surfaces pane and find the Eye Surface look to see if it has any maps applied
Thank you! That's actually what it was. Instead of deleting the map however, I figured it out by changing the reflection to "matte translucent" and lowering the opacity to 0. Do you know if it's possible to keep a reflection on the eye if I raise the opacity but keep it translucent? I'm in the middle of a render right now, so I can't test it out.
I'm woefully out of practive with LuxRender, but if you want environment reflections set the material to something glossy and remove the map - I guess it's in the Diffuse colour, faking the appearance of reflections, and that's why it carries over to LuxRender (I think actual reflection maps are discarded).
Cool, I was having this same problem with M6, now I know how to fix it. I called it "zombie eyes" lol
Better to set the Eye reflection to 'glass' material if you want to retain reflectivity. Matte Translucent at zero opacity is basically invisible and means that light is passing straight through without being reflected. Only a visible surface is capable of reflecting light in physically based engines like Lux.
You can potentially do so using glossy materials, but it's really more work than its worth for the final result. I'd even argue that mirror materials with a very low opacity work better than glossy if you want genuine reflections. The trick to using mirrors for this kind of work is not only to lower the opacity though, but also reduce the amount of light reflected to a dull grey. This allows most light to pass through the object, so you can see the eye, but also gives off nice subtle reflections.
