I realize that this thread is supposed to be for entries only, but it is starting to resemble a train wreck.
You don't have to double post, or even avoid posting your large images. If you already know how to post, the fix is pretty easy.
Yes, the forum is still borked, so there are extra steps needed to post images, if you want to keep everything in the first post. The problem is, once you have browsed and added an image, and posted the comment and copied link location, you are suddenly faced with HTML in order to continue. And only the "leave a comment" window (below your first post) has any icons to choose.
Below are modified instructions by Andricaus given in the Commons: Worked for me. And HTML skills are not required. Follow these instructions after attaching your file and posting the comment the first time.
Step 1: In the "leave a comment box" (the new post window, below the first post), click the "Image" button and post the URL there (like you would normally do).
Step 2: Next, click the "Source" button and copy the code.
Step 3: Then paste that code into the edit window (of the original first post).
Step 4: Enjoy a well earned drink!
In essence, you are loading the image data into a new post, copying that data, and pasting it back up into the original post. Takes longer to explain than do. :)
Well, here are my three entries. All of the for just the General classification.
I've tried all of the various instructions I've seen on how to get the image in the message, but no luck. I see that some people have done, so I just must be stupid, or maybe it's a browser thing. So all you get are the little thumbnail images for the attached files.

1. Huck Finn is black (the Leon character from Vyusur)
2. They encounter cave bats and the ghost of Injun Joe (in the book, bats appeared earlier in the story, and both boys feared seeing the ghost, but never did)
