Any recent wax candle material tutorials not made by idiots?

LOL sorry, but I've watched four 'tutorials' that supposedly explain how to make a realistic candle and wax material and they're either 10 years old and using nodes we don't even have anymore, or made by wanna-be Instagram influencers that know what they're talking about but have no clue how to explain it to others. Every time I follow what directions they do provide, the wax is unnatually bright, and I don't know if maybe I have a world or other setting set incorrectly.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I dunno, some of the characters people released especially in the 3Delight AoA days looked as if they were only missing a wick on their heads
just the material? I find the principled shader + random walk SSS works well
set subsurface radius to 1,1,1
Thank you very much. edit: sorry, missed the radius settings below the image. I will test this soon, thanks again.
