Clones (V4 to G2, G2 to G3, G3 to G8, etc.)

Help me out here please, I've not really done this before.  I want to freely put V4 clothes onto G3, G2 clothes onto G8, etc.  Apparently (Sickle's blog on DeviantArt) I need something called a "clone".  I remember installing the G8 to G3 female "clone" someone posted as a freebie on here and that seemed to work OK.  Is there an official "here they all are" package so I can mix/match any/all generation of models, male or female?  I saw some V4 boots I'd really like on G3.

    The Wear Them All sets for Genesis 3 and 8 cover a lot of ground, for older figures it's more broken down into separate products from several vendors.
