Hello. totally new here so please forgive me if this the wrong area for this post. :/
Legal question: Can this be used to create a new character face for games such as E.S. Oblivion
for NON profit and only gaming purposes? Do I need to acquire permission and if so to who?

Question 2 : where do I start lol

Again, if this is wrong area please point me to write forum. Thank you. :blank:

Only an example face! I am not using Shae as she is copywrited. I want to create a face like...this.

DAZ 3D products can only be used in new games that you produce yourself, and then they can only be used after the prior purchase of a Game Developer License. This license only cover products which are DAZ Originals, A few PAs have their own Game developer licenses,

    http://www.daz3d.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=game+developer+license

If you are talking about 2D sprites, that is different, as they can be used, but nothing 3d which includes the geometry (mesh) of the products.

Okay,, I guess what I wanted to do was make a "face like this one, into a nif file for my Oblivion game creating a new character race," but now I know that is not possible (cries) Thanks for the information.

Daz Studio is a great program, but it is not designed for modding games, especially if you want to distribute the mods. Sorry.

Certainly not online you could not
But your own PC for personal use no online playing it sharing in anyway you prob could
I have rendered DAZ stuff using Unreal game engine for example, rendering and playing around on my own computer being OK
But no way could you even with the gaming license even use it in an online multiplayer game
