Changing Memorized Pose for dForce sims

When simulating from memorized pose, a lot of the time I don't want the character to turn, or do something else that occurs when assuming the pose.  For example I have a character on a chair turned a certain way, and I want the character to start in an A or T pose, but facing where I want them.  Now I could just turn the set and everything, but that's not always convenient.

What steps do I need to take to say, rotate the character 90 degrees and have that be the new memoized pose?

rotate the hip and memorise the pose

I even partially sit them and pose the clothes and memorise both

    Thanks for the reply.

My problem here is that sometimes I'll used poses that come with environments, and those have their own hip rotations, and displacements.  I tried the hip thing, and that sent my character flying off at the beginning of the sim.

there is a script to fix crazy hip rotations

those really stuff up animations in puppeteer too so useful

  • If you want the hip to be unchanged, assumign that won't leave parts of the clothign sticking through the floor or something similar, select it and use Edit>Figure>Memorise>Memorise Selected Element(s)

Thanks.  Will give that script a whirl.
