Weapons in Hands

Hello, I just purchased a really cool set of Shotgun poses for G8. The Shotgun loads in to the scene at the figures feet. How (easily) do I move the weapon in to the hands of the figure? WIth the old M3/V3 figures this never seemed to be an issue. I'm sure I'm missing something.

    If you could name the product, it'd be easier to test.

     

    The quick and dirty solution: Pose the character, change the parent from the body to the hand, which ever is holding the gun, then zero the character pose.

    should work.

    Edit: Save the grip position as a pose preset, only the hand and fingers, while the character is posed.
