Published Artist questions

I'm having trouble finding information on submission guidelines for published artists. This page is mentioned but the link leads to a 404.

More specifically, is DAZ3D's stance on derivative and knockoff works, e.g. a suit that looks pretty-close-to-but-not-quite Iron Man. I've seen a few things here and there in the marketplace in varying degrees of mimicry from blatant to inspired by. Most of the content I see is pretty original within the common themes. But still, what exactly is the stance here?
In my situation, I have a cyborg head I've been modeling for another project that a friend suggests I modify and try to sell here. It's fan-art and fairly accurate to the copyrighted designs of the original, but the modeling and texturing are all my own work. Common sense and good nature tell me that the changes should be pretty significant, but deciding how different (and how much effort I want to put into that) is a little tricky.
Can't quite figure out formatting for images, apologies, but here's mine versus theirs just for the sake of showing something.

You can attach images by editing your original post and choosing 'choose file' in the attachments section at the bottom. After adding one image, select 'Preview Post' and you can then add a further image. Repeat as necessary.
Also... isn't that Briareus from Appleseed?
Thanks and thanks.
We can't link to external images? And yes it is Briareos.
