Using the integrated GPU?  To be precise, using the integrated GPU for regular computer work, while the NVidia GTX 1070 is used for the sole purpose of iRay renders.  I know I've read about it, (and sure enough, now that I'm looking for more info about it I can't find any) but I'd like to know, is it worth it?  Is there a significant increase in render speed?

    Not really. You can do it if you want. Don't try to play games, and depending on the specific iGPU and how much system RAM you have, even watching videos might be a bit much for the system.

    Most people who are using it are using it to free up GPU RAM, not for speed.
