PP2 to Daz dsa file to load Daz surfaces?

Hi.
I have some poser prop pp2 files that I made and I need to make DAZ versions .dsa? so they hold some surface properties specific to DAZ like smoothing angle and such.
In DS I'd like to just click on the png for the pp2 and have a dsa just load the das surface info all in one shot.
I know this is possible. If someone could please point to a tut or something.
Thanks

I've tried this:
Loaded a pp2 and saved it out as a dsa- it makes a script icon that shows in DS.
(can no longer load the pp2 because of this script unless I manually remove it from my props folder) .
If I click this script icon it tells me some geometry must be selected. It only works if I load the obj first then click the script. But this is too complicated.

I think this is what you need:

You can also save it as a .duf scene subset in the same folder a the .pp2 and the .duf version will load in DS4.5+ when the .pp2 is loaded.

Thanks! Yes, this looks like what I need. I'd like it to load with DS 3 and up so I'll try the dsa route rather than the duf.
Again, thanks guys for the quick response.

    Fixmypcmike-

You can also save it as a .duf scene subset in the same folder a the .pp2 and the .duf version will load in DS4.5+ when the .pp2 is loaded.

Fixmypcmike- Ok now I find that the dsa route isn't the best for these objects because most of them consist of more than one object.
So I've been trying to use duf files instead.
    Here's my process:
    Open the pp2 file 'floor'.
    Fix the textures and smoothing.
Save as scene subset = .duf into the same project folder along side the .pp2 (content/runtime/Libraries/props/*/*/FLOOR.duf
As far as the presets with multiple objects ie floors, walls, ceilings... I'm guessing it's better to rebuild the preset layout again in DS.
The one I loaded has 3 floor objects and they aren't updated with the new materials so it doesn't seem DS is reading the 1st and separate floor.duf

I also noticed in either the dsa or duf saving process I now have a new auto generated file 'floor.dsf' in folder
(Content/data/auto_adapted/*/*/floor.dsf) Do I need this file?

Also, some of these objects have morphs. (working great in the pp2) What's the best way to deal with them? I'm not even sure where to start in DS to get them working. Do I need to go back to the obj's and load it as a morph target? Any help much appreciated.

Don't bother making them in to DS props, that just adds bloat to files as DS needs to create its own geometry and UV information in the "data" folder. Make a material preset for DS and instruct the user to use it in your ReadMe.
