Remove Some Contents
Hi,
I want to remove the dragon slayer and barefoot dancer. I no longer need/want them in the content library. I am using the install manager and i do not see the content of them so i assume they come in with daz studio 4.6 package? Is there any way to remove them? I would like to have my library content being organized as i likes.
Any helps is much appreciated,
Dhimano

I believe they are part of the Genesis 2 Starter Essentials packages. Where are you trying to remove them from -- Smart Content, Content Library > DAZ Studio Formats, Content Library > Products, Content Library > Categories?
"at your own risk" ... I don't recommend deleting a bunch of files from this program on whims.
They came with the starter essential packs.
From the Content Library one can 'right-click' on an icon and "browse to folder location". CLOSE D/S and remove what you want to.
n.b. that not everything pertaining to those figures, etc would be removed, just what is in those folders.
When you re-open D/S you may or not need to right-click "refresh" in the Content Library space to get an updated view.
Once read the "at my own risk". I stopped right there. I don't have the time to hassle through folder and such but thanks for the help and quick response.
It's like rearranging the house, you figure out where stuff was, and you can't find anything, lol.
DIM also kind of gets upset when product updates filter threw, and there is a chance CMS turns itself into a pretzel.
Thank you for thinking twice about that, till you are more willing to deal with the mass-mayhem it may invoke.
If you simply want to keep a bunch of thumbnails from cluttering up other categories in your content library, you could create a category called "trash bin" and just move them all in there. (although I don't use smart content at the moment, presumably you'll still see them there and this would only help in the non-smart view.)
