Setting to make DoF camera effect blurrier?

Hello. I'm wanting to make things just outside my depth of field more blurry than they currently are. I've adjusted the focal distance and FStop to where I want. Is there a setting somewhere on the camera or render settings where I can amplify the effect for things inside and/or out of the field? Thank you!

Technically, that is what FStop does; if you select your camera and use another camera like perspective camera in your scene, you will see the the center of focus as a little green line (i try to center that under the eyes of a character) and two planes which are the depth of field.  The closer the planes are, the less things are in focus except for what is in the center of focus.  I'm not sure what you mean by FStop being where you want if it isn't giving you the bluriness that you want, but, that being said, your next tool would be to create a depth map using Iray canvases and artificially blur to your heart's content using an image editor like Photoshop or GIMP:https://nabesaka.com/using-iray-canvas-for-depth-of-field-in-daz-studio-3d/  and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p1uLeHn_gOY&feature=youtu.be

I see, thanks for that info! I assumed FStop was simply another parameter for adjusting the field itself, since sometimes I have difficulty fine tuning it with just focal distance alone.
