I find that the auto fit does not offer an M4 option when it pops up. Maybe i have failed to instal something correctly though how that might have happened i do not know. I have been searching and trying to access the Using auto fit interactive tutorial but cannot get that to work either. I am only trying that tutorial to see if i am doing anything wrong. Having spent money on M6 i find i cannot use my existing M4 clothing which is a big problem. Anyone offer any advice please?

The Genesis 2 figures don't come with autofit clones for the fourth generation figures, you need to buy a separate product for that.

Thanks for the info although i have G2F and auto fit works fine for that, and i can't recall buying a separate product for that. Can you tell me what i need to get in order to obtain auto fit for G2 for the male version please

I think you would need this : http://www.daz3d.com/michael-4-for-genesis-2-male it has the clone shape for the Autofit plugin.

There is also one for V4 : http://www.daz3d.com/victoria-4-for-genesis-2-female

If you don't have these, you would need to use Autofit to transfer M4 clothing to Genesis, save that, then load that clothing to Gen2M, and when Autofit pops up, select Genesis as the supported figure. Both of the above contain the clones that Autofit needs, but out of the box, you can only transfer Genesis clothing to Genesis 2.

Of course you are absolutely correct, on checking i have theV4 for G2F installed, and it cost around $14. The male version costs over $18 which is clearly sex discrimination. This whole thing is turning into a rats nest of dependent items needed to make the whole thing work, and the cost is not inconsiderable. There have been a lot of changes in the way pricing is presented for PC members, but the overall problem is the complexity involved. Too many different categories, leaving me at least, floundering to understand what a selection of purchases will cost..its really confusion.
Thank you for the info, as i rarely use G2M i am going to pass on this, but i am very grateful for the time you both have taken to help...
    Thank you once more

The M4 version costs more because it has the genitalia uvs included, which was a much requested addition. No sex discrimination intended :). Originally, the genitals were not included and it was the same price as the V4 product.
