I'm having issues with hexagon. the problem is that i'm unable to select multiple faces at one time, while using the sweep surface tool. Also, within my created object there is these red lines with little squares on them. I 'm able to select 2 faces on the original primitive, but when i go to use the sweep surface tool it automatically switches to the auto select tool. Which i still just want to use the select face tool. As i have mentioned before being able to select faces on the original primitive, but not able to select faces on the parts that were extended from the square primitive by way of using the sweep surface tool. Just wanted to say that, in the beginning of using this Program, i didn't have these issues. anyone can help me out?

One selects the faces before using the Sweep surface tool.
    Validate.
Then select the next batch of faces.

Check the property editors tab when the Sweep Surface tool has been selected because it can be changed there as well.

Red lines with little squares??? screen shot would be nice.

Sometimes resetting Hexagon back to default settings solves problems.

I'm not posting another thread about Hexagon. So, I figured I would post it here. And it's not really an issue. I was wondering if anyone knows the whereabouts of some youtube videos for Hexagon. I've searched for them on youtube can't find them. Might have seen them on one of threads here on the forums. Or maybe someone posted a link to them. Basically they were a set of videos, or a series. Each individual video show the function of a tool within Hexagon. Hopefully I gave enough infomation. Thanks for any help!

Think I might of found them. They are videos done by CGDreams. Yes to geek at play. I was looking for short videos that focused on more of the function of the tools, and not so much on how to create a model. Thanks for the help!

You must of changed "Dynamic Geometry" to "Full DG". (small window bottom right of UI. See attached pic).

Dynamic Geometry is a powerfull feature, but not sure if there are any tutorials about it.

I will try and find some time to make a post showing how to use it.

For now, I would suggest you change the DG back to "Restricted DG" or "No DG"
(Note: The little red squares, those are used to scale the sections of the sweep. You need to use the "Utilities > Stretch" and LMB+drag on them to scale the sections.)

Pic showing Cube with top face "Sweep surface" with "Full DG" enabled.

You can select "Sweep" first. You can even sweep Dynamic geometry by selecting sweep first (although it is limited to single face / edge or vertex). But it is good for box modeling with sub-d(smoothing)

Been a while since I've posted about that particular issue, but that would be the the little red markers that I talking about. I ended up taking some advice about resetting the program. If that happens again ill definatly take your advice. Thanks a bunch!

Resetting the program(preferancies) will reset the DG to "Restricted. So yes, it will stop DG being created on those sweeps.

Sorry, I did not see/realize the first post was made back in Aug. Better late than never I suppose.

It's all good bro. Someone might come across this thread seeking the same thing, and find the answer to this question.

So, I just extracted the files for Hexagon 2.5 Mastery Car Modeling. Figured there would be pics of the car included with the content folder. The ones Jason used to apply to the faces of the cube for reference to model the car. Does anyone know if they are available, or where can I find them?
