Use Victoria4 items onV6

Hi,
I'd like to use http://www.daz3d.com/serpent-goddess, which is for V4.

I have Victoria 6, therefore it's "semi-compatible". Do I have to buy Victoria4? Or is enough to use auto-fit V4 for G2?
Do I have to buy Victoria4 for Genesis 2?

I'm a n00b, thanks for your help! :)

    You can use Autofit as long as you have the V4 clone shape for it.

    When you try to load any V4 item onto Genesis 2 Female, do you get an option to select V4 from the drop down menu in Autofit? If so, then it should work well.

    Just bear in mind, that Aotofit is an automatic process that uses a clone shpe for the character that the clothing was originally intended for. It works very well for most things, but Shoes, Boots and Hair can be problematic at times. It is not a magic bullet, but is usually works very well.

    But if it doesn't, what shoud I do? (What should I buy?)

    There is this http://www.daz3d.com/pharaohs-of-the-sun-for-genesis-female for the free Genesis figure.

    You would need to do a search on the store for items like that. I typed in 'Egyptian' in the search box and found a few for Genesis which would work out of the box.

    If you want to try autofiting the dress to V6 then you need "Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 Female" as it gives you the required autofit clone.

    As it is a dress this might help with autofitting if the standard conversion doesn't work well enough.

    Auto-Fit is completely useless for any type of 'loincloth' clothing.

    And stuff explicitly made for figure shapes other then V4, Especially if you don't have the non-V4 figure to start from. like the blue Aiko4 skirt in my gallery.
