Mousso's new character 'Echo' looks really familiar to me, but I can't place why.   Is is based on someone famous, or is it just that Mousso style making her seem familiar?   Either way, a beautiful new character.

Could be both. Mousso has a 'that looks something like' vibe on a lot of their characters. Possibly inspired by rather than made to look like, whether that's intentional or not is open to debate.

Having said that, I get a younger Jennifer Connelly vibe from Echo (might just be because I'm trying to find a match rather than the other way round).

I was going to say a strong Jennifer Connelly vibe as well.

When I saw her I thought Jennifer Conelly as well.

  • Yes, put me in with the Jennifer Connelly 'crowd' as well. That was the first thing I thought when I saw the character.

    Best Regards,

    Learstang

Anyone know of any Famke Janssen (original Jean Grey) morphs?

I purchased the V4 Karmir Pack back in my Poser days -- I was able to convert the morph and texture to G3F -- Attached is a render -- Also the same vendor made a nice Kit called the M4 Vlog Pack which is the Film version of Wolverine -- The morph would not convert to any of the Genesis figures, but the texture did -- Attached is a second render containing the G3M version of the comic book Wolverine using the Volg Pack skin texture which only shows on part of his face and arms beside the M4 version of the film Wolverine -- Both kits included the hair that you see in my renders

I actually prefer a beautifully done "inspired by", as exampled by some of Mousso's work (<3), rather than going all out on a celebrity likeness in a way that´s not... as aesthetically pleasant, or crossing too much into caricature land.

It is not realistic to expect each Professional or Amateur 3D Content Artist to be completely successful on every celeberity that they attempt -- I am grateful that so many celeberity clones are available -- There is some disadvantage for them to be too good -- I was once offered a full refund for an M4 Bruce Willis Clone that I had purchased, but I don't charge for any of my artistic "Tributes" (i.e., didn't need the Commercial License) and declined the refund

I just came across some offerings from a new PA, named Moineau3d -- Do these lovely ladies resemble any famous celebs?

My friend on DeviantArt says that my render reminds him of one of the ladies that appeared in Ghostbusters 2016

That's who I saw too, even in the Captain Marvel render above she looks more like Amy to me. I don't see Brie Larson in there at all.

Agreed.  Image 4 of 6 sells it - it's all about the nose.  I guess I can understand the Amy Schumer comments, as this character's face is too full and its jaw shape too broad for Amy Adams.  However, Adams has a very distinctive nose; it has a prominent tip, very much like the referenced promo image.  Schumer has a very elongated philtrum, quite unlike this character, and the tip of her nose is shallow and round.

OK, it's now official, I've fallen in love with Vicey3D's characterisations - the emphasis on Middle Eastern beauty is a niche that is very welcome...

...and there's a sale on - but if I want to eat this week then I can only pick a couple of them, LOL.

I recognise three or four - great that there's a list at the start of this discussion thread, so a couple of more dots are connected - the original characters look like they're real people and might end up in the cart before some of the celebs... oh, decisions decisions

In all the talk about Vicey3D releasing a new character the new one by Kadaj15 seems to have gone under the radar so here's the portrait from DeviantArt. Opening the floor to guesses. Kadaj hasn't named the person in the tags this time but has put that it is an actress.

I immediately thought of Wunmi Mosaku, from "Lovecraft County". She was also a player in "Loki" as Hunter B-15, which would be a nice pairing considering Kadaj's last character Sophia di Martino (Sylvie, from the same series).

Thanks for that, have to say that looks spot on and your logic makes sense, great work :)

The face and head are very good. The body is very different. Jennifer Connely's body at that age (she is now 52 years old) her body was more hourglass, shoulders wider, arms thicker. As can be seen in the 1991 film Career Opportunities

A test I made with Echo kind of got out of hand in to this render:

I would definetly say Echo is based on Jennifer Connely, though a bit older than in the photo above. There is an Alt-Morph slider coming with Echo, this is the Echo standard morp with 50% of the Alt morph added. I also tweaked her skin a bit.
