I too would prefere "classics" but I'm an old, so.

Yeah, most "celebs" that are mentioned here, are nobodies to me. Where's Goldie Hawn and othe real movie stars?

Thank goodness at the very least Sangriart did Audrey Hepburn.

I only pay attention to really iconic stars so 90% percent of names in this thread flies over my head.

WTB Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh.

FWSA Robert HD for Michael 7 looks like a younger James Marster - Spike from BtVS.

FWSA Liam HD for Michael 7 is David Boreanaz - Angel.

I think FWSA Livia HD for Victoria 7 is Juliet Landau - Drusilla, although I'm not sure the likeness is as good as the other two.

Especially the name is a direct hint for Monaghan's role as Ian Gallagher in Shameless... (the US version, not the britisch original...)

I also don't see any similarity to Demi Moore. Google for her you get thousend pictures at various ages - but none that looks like Jeynsen.

So I agree with maikdecker: "mission failed" wink

I'd say that render looks more like her than the promos on the store page, although my primary association with Demi Moore is an incredibly square head.

Well... to be fair, they both have dark hair, and white in their eyes, and two ears. cheeky

  • Okay, this one may be a long shot, I know, but this character Anae kind of reminds me of Daisy Ridley:

In all honesty, I think Kayleyss's 'Michelle' is closer: https://www.daz3d.com/michelle-hd-for-genesis-8-female

Sometimes this thread reminds me a bit of those people who find the face of the virgin mary in their grilled cheese. I think the key is to squint and hope really hard

Sometimes sculpting morphs are a hit or miss, I guess when making this one, I missed this time.frown

I like your characters - I have 5 of them because they really look like their role models. So I think you can create a better Demi Moore.

No worries! this wasn't aimed at you but more the thread in general.

and as someone who does some sculpting I agree , Its also always annoyig how something can look great from one angle and then you turn it slightly and it looks completely wrong.

    Hey Kadaj15! :)

Listen: your characters are awesome, you're obviously wildly talented. Your Caelan is my favorite! Lyzia, Rachael and Audrina are also pretty great!

These things happen - I think, especially with someone like Demi Moore, who's had many looks throughout a long career, I mean, unless you're going for a specific appearance (ex: in ___ movie), it can be tricky to sort of pin down. And even if the celebrity likeness isn't totally there, doesn't mean she's not well-made or isn't a good character worth purchasing. :)

So. Chin up and keep up the superb work! yes

    Wow, Thanks!

I still have a ways to go, I hope to be as good as my favorites, Sangriart and Vicey3d. Danae is one of my favorites also, her character textures are phenomenal, it's an oldie but a goodie, but I would love to convert them from V4 to Genesis 8 female.

As mentioned above, for she looks like a great Shannen Doherty... so instead of only achieving one likeness, you even managed to achieve two with just one figure... for me, that's a definite plus!

And when looking through this thread, it's obvious that people have great differences in their abilities to recognize facial features. Sometimes it helps to tell them what they are expected to see, sometimes it doesn't.

I belong to the group that wouldn't recognize the face of virgin mary - or Elvis - on a toast even when offered money to do so... wink

Any suggestions for a Rosamund Pike lookalike?
  • Well, here's another, that seems obvious to me, but I could be wrong: Natalie Portman?

Pretty sure it's already been catalogued, but yes, Odette was the character that Natalie Portman's character played in Black Swan.

I can agree to that... at least are the promo pictures supposed to show Sigourney Weaver, by choice of lighting, angle, hairstyle and setting... can't say if the figure would look like her when putting her in a scene of my own wink

Yes, as has been said before, Krashwerks tends to be 'reminicent of' rather than a full on look-a-like but the promos definitely show the intent in this one.

Looking for Riverdale girls. Adam did an excellent Camila Mendes with CS-88 but I am looking for a Lili Reinhart and a Madelaine Petsch. (Betty Cooper and Cheryl Blossom)

  • magikhsmagikhs Posts: 250

Hmm... I'm looking for a good Elizabeth Lail ("You", "Countdown", "Gossip Girl"...). Any suggestions?
