View Translate and DS3A...

Any way to turn it off? It's a real PITA to me.

    You mean the tool widget that lets you drag on controls in the viewport? I don't think so, but you won't get one with the Node Selection tool.

    View translate allows you to move parts of characters when you're in the standard window. (NOT active pose.) Or, if you click on a part of a figure and don't let go of the mouse quickly enough, it destroys your whole pose until you go undo what you just did, hence the reason I wast to turn it off.

    Ah, Inverse Kinematics. There is a command to turn it off, but I can't recall where it lives - possibly the option menu for the rotate control in the top corner of the viewport (the sphere surrounded by circles).

    Thanks. I call it that because in Edit> Undo it states "Undo View Translate."

    You have the Translate tool as your active Tool. Pick another tool from your TOOLS Menu.
