Morphing gums and teeth

Hi everyone! I hope there is someone out there who can help me figure this one out...

I am making some morphs and would like modify the G8 gums and teeth. When I take the model into Zbrush however getting to the gums and teeth is next to impossible! I've tried masking the lips and cheeks, then inverting the mask, then hiding the unmasked areas, but the mask effect seems to extend deep into the model, and it causes the front of the teeth and gums along with a portion of the tongue to be hidden.

I assume there's a better way to do this so I figured I would come to the gurus!

Thanks in advance for any help!!

Not sure about ZBrush as can't afford it, but my experiences with doing teeth morphs has been through using Hexagon.. Did find this and it may help you, http://docs.pixologic.com/zbrushcore/masking-selection/ there is a part about Poly Groups, that if they do what Hexagon does should allow you to hide body parts from getting changed in ZBrush..
