Creating Groups - Solved

Was wondering is it possible to create groups in the scene tab. example i have items selected in the scene tab and i want them to be manipulated as one item, i have highlighted them and tried that way but that doesn't work (similair to using layers in photoshop etc). Found out how it is done - not creating groups but manipulating them at once

Select items, and either Create > New Group, or use the icon at the top next to the new primitive icon.
