strange pattern after rendering ?

This is Loft 4 Lease with the Dance Studio Add on by Predatron.

I have installed and re-installed with no improvement. It looks like the Loft4Lease underneath is peeking through the add on.

should i be doing something else?

It looks like you have 2 copies of the loft loaded.
The add-on is a probably a complete scene which loads the objects too, so you don't need to load the original version.

That's what I have been doing.

Loading the original and then loading the add on scene.

I thought that usually you have to load the original and then an add on.

I will try your suggestion and load the add on by itself.

You need to load the original first if the add-on is only materials, but if it's a complete scene then it's not necessary.

Yea, I usually just try adding the "add-on" first, if it complains then I know it needs the base whatever.
