Using Genesis hair with V4

I want to use a hair made for Genesis with V4, but when I "Fit to" the hair grows out of the middle of her face! I tried adjusting the Y-coordinate, but it's fixed.

If on the other hand, I don't use "Fit to" but just position the hair by hand and then parent it, when I then apply a pose to the figure, the hair doesn't move with it!

So what's the solution?

Make sure you are parenting the hair to the head, not to the figure itself.

When you use the fit-to, it disables the XYZ transit controls, Every time (V4-toG2F or G2F-to-V4, and in between).

Load the Hair with the figure in the T-pose (With nothing selected in the Scene tab).
Position the hair using the XYZ transit controls.
Use the Parameters tab to adjust the shape of the scalp (Show Hidden controls). Assuming it has them.
Then Parent the hair to the head, with the box "Parent In Place" checked.

It is not perfect, tho it will get most things close enough.
    (edit)
And whith the item not fitted to a figure, (especially with long hair), you will need to apply the same pose rotations to the hair tree when you move the figure around. It's more work to use then my laziness allows, lol.

    Yes, that's what I'm doing

Right, so basically, it's as I thought. You can't really use genesis hair with V4 without having to re-pose the hair manually every time you pose the figure.

    Annoying.
