Transparent maps

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I just created a transparent map for some clothing. I was reading a post from the forum a few years back and it said to go to surfaces
and open the opacity strength option and put it there. I have the latest version of Daz Studio and nowhere in the surfaces tab can I
find this option (opacity strength )  I figured that it would be under "base" but it is not there. I know there is a layered image editor
but I have never tried it. Where do I put my transparent map?   Thanks

    It should be "cutout opacity".
