Install Manager Failing to install dForce Classic Long Wavy Hair.

I had forgotten that I had [dForce Classic Long Wavy Hair] for months because it never showed up in the Smart Content tab. I tried reimporting meta data and that didn't help so today I uninstalled in via IM, then tried to reinstall it. When I do that, it downloads the file, goes to install and says the install failed.

I've tried downloading and reinstalling about 40 times and it's still failing. Trying to install the hair directly inside Studio just shows a broken shortcut that doesn't allow me to do anything.

Quick update, I had about 8 things I had to install thanks to the PC+ sale, everything installed just fine. I tried to download and install the hair again and it still fails.

It's installed (though Connect) for me. I think you may need to open a support ticket.

I did some further investigating and checked the install folders and I found that the texture folder was still there after I had uninstalled the hair. I got rid of the folder and made sure there were no more remnants of the hair. I then used IM and it installed just fine.

The hair is now back and usable but it still does not show up in the smart content tab for hairs if I have G8F selected. I'd be willing to edit the meta data and add compatability tags, but I don't know how.

It could be a problem with the character rather than the model.  Kalaa, for example, doesn't have its preferred base set correctly.  No wardrobe or hair items will show up when Filter by Context is selected in Smart Content when loaded.  If you change her preferred base to G8F, they do.
